Julia Barretto, Carlo Aquino to star in "Expensive Candy"
30 Nov – Julia Barretto and Carlo Aquino will be united for the first time in the upcoming movie, "Expensive Candy".
The news was shared by director Jason Paul Laxamana, who is set to helm the said film.
Posting a photo of the two actors on his Instagram account, he wrote, "Can't friggin wait to do this film with these two talented actors."
It is noted that the director has worked with Julia previously on the 2019 movie, "Between Maybes" that co-starred Gerald Anderson. Julia is now in a relationship with Gerald.
This is also Carlo's first movie since 2019's "Isa Pa with Feelings"
No further information has been revealed about the movie, except that it will be produced by Viva Films and will be released in 2022.
