Joyce Cheng finally fulfills her concert dream

24 Oct - Joyce Cheng finally held her concert with much success, after it was previously cancelled due to typhoon Haima.

As reported on Now News, the singer, who was set to perform last weekend, was forced to cancel her show on Friday due to strong winds and torrential rain – a dire situation which had even caused the cancellation of 700 flights.

She even expressed her frustration about the situation online, saying that she would have performed anyway if she has any say in it, but that she has to consider the safety of others as well.

However, the singer finally managed to perform on 23 October, and thanked the audiences for their patience and understanding.

"I am so happy when I woke up and saw the sunshine. I have been acting for eight years, and now I finally get to perform in my first concert. I am very happy," said Joyce as she began her performance.

Among stars who attended the performance were her father Adam Cheng, Alfred Hui, Wyman Wong, Kate Tsui, and David Chiang.
