Joshua Garcia learns more working solo

17 Feb – Although he got famous through his love team with Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia stated that he now prefers working alone and with different leading ladies instead.

As reported on Inquirer, the actor who is set to star in the new movie, "Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan" without an onscreen partner, shared that working with many different people would enable him to learn more.

"The more people I get to work with, the better. I learn from all of them. I want to be able to observe how they are at work and, maybe, copy their good practices," he said.

Using his "The Killer Bride" co-star Janella Salvador, he said, "I noticed that Jea never complained about whatever it was that's happening on the set. I would be ashamed whenever I feel the urge to complain about something. She has taught me to be more patient and understanding of the situation of others."

As for working with Barretto in the past, Garcia stated that he learned something as well throughout their collaborations.

"[For example], I felt more confident to speak in English," he said.
