JoshLia feels blessed working with film icons
13 Jul – Onscreen partners Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto recently admitted that they feel blessed to be given the opportunity to work with one movie icon after another.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actors, known to their fans as the tandem JoshLia, admitted that it was surreal that they were able to first work with Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla in "Unexpectedly Yours", and then with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino in their new movie, "I Love You, Hater".
"We feel blessed, of course, to be working with these veterans. They rarely make movies, and they did it with us, like now with Ms. Kris Aquino. We're very blessed," said Garcia.
Barretto added, "It is still so surreal working with all of them. We've learned a lot. It was inspiring how humble and hardworking they are."
The two stars also said that Aquino even gave them a lot of good advice during their time together on the set of the movie.
"She talked to me about my interviews. She said less talk, less mistake," said Garcia.
"My favourite [advice] is that you should never forget about your health, especially being a workaholic that I am," said Barretto.
"I Love You, Hater" opens on 11 July.
