JoshLia to bring tandem to small screen
13 Jul – Good news, JoshLia fans. Love team Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto recently revealed that they will soon be taking their tandem to the small screen.
As reported on Push, the onscreen couple revealed the good news at the press conference of their new movie, "I Love You, Hater", saying that they will be working together as lead stars of an upcoming series, "Ngayon at Kailanman".
"What we will do is a classic love story. Forbidden love, like Romeo-Juliet type drama. It's very challenging and very different," said Barretto, adding that it was her dream to do a television series with her onscreen partner.
Garcia revealed that he will also be playing a character that is different than his usual roles.
"I do feel nervous about our soap since we don't know what the reaction will be to our new characters," he added.
Although the love team have done several movies together since they first collaborated on "Vince & Kath & James", they have never actually done a teleserye together.
