JoshLia: We are back to being best friends!
1 Jul – Onscreen couple Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia have recently confirmed rumours that they have broken up.
The two stars shared this piece of information with ABS-CBN News recently, with Barretto saying that the two of them are now back to being best friends.
"We managed to be the [best] of friends and if the fans are worried, we can assure them that there is nothing to worry about. JoshLia is very much alive," she said.
Garcia stated that the two of them had gone through a rough patch like most couples do, but that they are fine now.
"We are okay. We're happy now," he said.
The two stars also dismissed the notion that their breakup had anything to do with actor Gerald Anderson, Barretto's leading man in the new movie, "Between Maybes".
"Gerald wouldn't do such a thing. He's like a brother to me," said Barretto.
The two stars will soon begin promoting their upcoming new movie, "Block Z", directed by Mikhail Red.
