Joseph Marco: The Bridge inspires me to work behind the scenes!

6 Jul – Joseph Marco recently admitted that working with the cast and crew of HBO Asia's "The Bridge" has sparked new interest in working behind the camera.

As reported on Push, the actor, who spoke about his experience working with multinational actors including Malaysia's Bront Palarae, Indonesia's Ario Bayu, and Singapore's Rebecca Lim, stated that he was inspired to pursue filmmaking after speaking to all of his new friends and the producers alike.

"To hear their love for filmmaking, it's very contagious. That's why I told myself, "Since I'm already here, why not study it and hopefully one day I could create and direct my own film". That's going to be fun. I like dark stories, like outside-the-box stories," he said.

Marco also admitted that doing the series was a milestone for him, adding that he would definitely say yes to more international projects if such were to be offered to him.

"It really helps me grow as an actor and also for personality development. Other than that, I was able to gain friends from Malaysia and Indonesia," he said.
