Jordan Chan's wife scolds him for his temper
25 Sep - Jordan Chan didn't need to wait for the criticism of his parenting style to come in from the viewers of "Where Are We Going, Dad?", as wife Cherrie Ying was the first to express her thoughts about it.
As reported on Liberty Times, in the premiere episode of the show the actor got angry with his four year-old son for moving slowly, and for getting into the water with only his socks on.
Cherrie, who saw the episode on television, shared that Jordan's strictness has made Jasper afraid of the cameras and that he has expressed reluctance to go on the next trip.
She also reminded Jordan to speak more Chinese rather than English, as she expressed her confusion as to why the actor insisted on speaking in a foreign language.
Nonetheless, the father-son duo had since become one of the favourites, with many expressing admiration for Jasper - who is mature enough to calm his hot-tempered father down, and get along well with the other children.
Netizens also recently shared an edited a photo of the two, where Jasper and Jordan switches heads on each other's body, to show who is the more mature between the two.
It is also noted that Jordan has admitted previously that he would sometimes lash out when he's angry, and that he agreed on doing the show in order to improve his relationship with his son.
