Jonathan Wong not worried about viewership of upcoming drama

20 Nov– Although TVB's viewership ratings have not been very flattering for the past few months due to the current civil unrest in Hong Kong, singer-actor Jonathan Wong will not think too much about it when it comes to his upcoming series, "Wonder Women".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke about the upcoming Miriam Yeung-starrer, stated that the series will premiere next week as planned despite rumours of postponement.

"The first episode will air as usual, but I don't know if there will be further adjustments in the future," he said.

As to whether there will be any promotional events for the said series since many events have been cancelled left and right due to the current situation in Hong Kong, Jonathan likened it to the ratings, saying that it is something that none of them can control.

"We will face it together. I'm not too worried about that. I believe that there is a quality to the drama and that being an actor means bringing entertainment to the audience. That's your job and you shouldn't worry about other things," he added.

On the other hand, Jonathan also revealed that he will be holding two concert shows in late December.

"Wonder Women" also stars Pakho Chau and Raymond Wong.
