14 Sep – Jolin Tsai has been named one of the artistes who will be performing at the "WE ❤ NAMIE HANABI SHOW" to bid farewell to the Japanese diva Namie Amuro.
As reported on Epoch Times, the show, which will be held on 16 September in Amuro's hometown Okinawa, will feature several Japanese artistes including Ken Hirai, BEGIN and MONGOOL18, with Jolin being the only Taiwanese artiste to perform.
It is noted that Jolin and Amuro have worked together several times in the past. Aside from being the featured artiste in Jolin's song, "I'm Not Yours", Amuro also served as a guest at Jolin's "Play World Tour".
Jolin also attended Amuro's farewell concert in Taiwan back in May, and even baked a special cake for the Japanese diva herself.
On the other hand, Jolin, who is celebrating her 38th birthday on 15 September, stated that it is an honour for her to be performing for Amuro.
"I think it will be the most significant day in my life. It will be an unforgettable birthday present. I look forward to seeing her beautiful smile," she said.
