John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo film project to resume

28 Jan – ABS-CBN Films' managing director Olivia Lamasan recently assured that the upcoming John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo reunion-movie film project will be pushing through this year.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the producer, who shared the news in a virtual conference, revealed that the movie is currently among the projects under Carmi Raymundo's development and will be one of the biggest projects of the network for 2021.

She also added that Cruz and Alonzo have also been actively involved in the project, showing their creative sides when it comes to story-telling.

"It's exciting. [John Lloyd] and Bea have gone through the same journey and are now collaborating in this project. It's something that excites us, excites writer Carmi Raymundo, and director Cathy Garcia-Molina," said Lamasan, who ignited the two actors' careers through her series, "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay".

Back in October last year, the producer admitted that the project was supposed to have been shot in Florence, Italy for a 2020 release, but that they had to postpone it due to the pandemic.
