John Frieda's new range promises to deliver moisture to dry hair
British hairstylist John Frieda sure knows a thing or two about hair; after all, he created this namesake brand in the 80s, but later sold it to Kao Corporation.
Known for its signature product, the Frizz-Ease, a serum that calms unruly hair, the brand has also released a new range, the Hydrate and Recharge, that helps to moisturise dry hair. It's said to quench dry, lifeless hair with an infusion of moisture, thanks to its ingredients – monoi oil, keratin – giving you a full, glossy silky look.
The monoi oil is native to French Polynesia, and is produced by soaking petals of the Tiaré flower (Tahitian gardenia) in pure coconut oil. The oil has been used for centuries for its delicate fragrance and moisturising properties.
Launching with three products, the range includes a shampoo, conditioner, and hair masque that will work hard for your buck.
