The traditional Nigerian attire John Boyega wore at the London premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was designed by his sister.
The actor, who plays Finn in the sci-fi saga, paid a touching tribute to his family's ancestry on Wednesday night by walking the red carpet in a royal blue Agbada robe with gold accents, completing his look with a matching traditional hat and black dress shoes.
He was joined at the high-profile event by his whole family, including his British Nigerian parents, Samson and Abigail, and sister Grace, who were all decked out in similar looks.
It's since been revealed that his sibling Grace was the brains behind the whole wardrobe - and she was flattered to be entrusted with the task of dressing her loved ones for the big celebration.
"I'm grateful that my brother entrusted me to execute his vision for the premiere," the fashion designer tells People.com. "I knew I was the right person to do it as I've always had a passion for fashion. I've learned from building my own brand that I had it in the bag."
"We love being Nigerian!" she added. "This was an opportunity of a lifetime. I'm just happy my hard work paid off."
Boyega shared a photo from the premiere on Instagram, showing him proudly decked out in the traditional clothing.
"Had an amazing time at the London premiere for Star Wars! Last leg of the tour! Couldn't be more grateful for such an amazing opportunity," he wrote.
He later posted another snap which featured his family posing on the blue carpet in their show-stopping outfits.
"Me and the whole fam at the London premiere for #theriseofskywalker last night!" Boyega wrote.
