Joey Yung to release solo version of "Pretty Crazy" after Seungri scandal

19 Mar – Hong Kong pop diva Joey Yung has not much to say about the scandal surrounding K-pop star Seungri and what it meant for their collaboration single, "Pretty Crazy".

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who was originally scheduled to perform the song with the BIG BANG member at the KKBOX Music Awards before Seungri cancelled his appearance following the controversy, stated that she was surprised upon receiving Seungri's message.

"I have already recorded the song, and he has also done the same. But it involves a lot of post-production and mixing. Now the production is stopped and he couldn't perform it with me. There's a lot of changes that is hard to keep up. It's a pity, really," she said.

Joey also praised Seungri as a talented artiste, and expressed hope that everything will be fine for him.

"I should not make further comments," she said.

As for the song, Joey said that she will launch a solo version next month.
