Joel Chan wants Best Onscreen Couple with Elaine Yiu
21 Sep - TVB actor Joel Chan recently stated that he is thankful that "The Unholy Alliance" was positively received by the viewers, especially when it comes to his pairing with actress Elaine Yiu.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who did a radio interview recently shared that he is happy that the chemistry between him and Elaine came out well, and that he is looking forward to being nominated as Best Onscreen Couple with the actress.
"In the past, I never really cared about getting nominated or winning any awards. But this year, I really hope that Elaine and I can be nominated [at the TVB Anniversary Awards]," he said.
Joel added, "We're the Crazy Runners. It's rare to get this kind of role, so I really hope we could win."
Crazy Runners refers to a group of celebrities who share the same passion in running. The group, which was established by Joel, is also joined by Elaine, aside from Benjamin Yuen, Otto Wong, Brian Tse, Jack Wu, Nancy Wu, and Paisley Wong.
On the other hand, when it comes to questions about his relationship with non-showbiz girlfriend Apple, Joel said that he hopes to make more money before thinking about proposing to her.
