Jodi Sta. Maria is one step closer to getting her degree
8 Jun – After four years of study and hard work, Jodi Sta. Maria is now one step closer to getting her degree.
On 5 June, the actress shared the update on her Instagram Story, saying that she had just passed her final defense for her B.S. Psychology programme at the Southville International School and Colleges.
"Being grilled for more than [three] hours was no joke. But I must say, all the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the hours spent in front of my computer to source out materials for my papers were worth it. Marching soon!" she expressed.
It was back in 2017 that Jodi revealed that she was going back to school to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, adding that she would like to obtain her Master's degree once she finishes her undergraduate studies.
On the other hand, the actress is also set to star as the lead in the Filipino version of the hit BBC drama, "Doctor Foster", which will co-star Zanjoe Marudo, Sue Ramirez and Zaijian Jaranilla. The series will be titled "The Broken Marriage Vow" and Jodi will play the role of Jill Ilustre, a community doctor whose life turns upside down after finding out about her husband's infidelity.
