Jodi Sta. Maria nominated for International Emmy
28 Sep - The International Emmy is set to be held in November, and it looks like Jodi Sta. Maria may be going to the event as well.
As reported on InterAksyon, the actress, who previously gave a winning performance as Amor Powers in the remake of "Pangako Sa' Yo", has been nominated in the category of Best Actress for her role in the drama.
The actress will be facing three other nominees, including the highly-respected Dame Judi Dench, who is nominated for her BBC One drama, "Roald Dahl's Esio Trot".
In addition to Sta. Maria, it was revealed that another ABS-CBN product, the drama "Bridges of Love" has been nominated for Best Telenovela, and will be competing against "30 Vies – Samuel Pagé" from Canada, and two Brazilian telenovelas, "A Regra do Jogo" and "Verdades Secretas".
"Bridges of Love", co-starring Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino, and Maja Salvador, was released in 2015, from March to August.
The International Emmy Awards 2016 will be held at the Hilton New York Hotel on 21 November.
