Joanna Dong: No regrets despite not winning "Sing! China"

10 Oct - Joanna Dong has no regrets despite coming third in the second season of "Sing! China".

The singer, who expressed her thoughts on Instagram following the competition, which was held at iconic Beijing National Stadium on 8 October, shared that the journey has been "all sorts of amazing."

"For an amnesiac like myself, it's great that it's all been documented for posterity! However, there really are some truly sweet moments that are transient, and therefore super precious," she added.

In a previous post, Joanna shared a photo with mentor Jay Chou, both giving the three-finger ok-sign, with the caption, "Jay & Jo Dong: Take the third. It's okay!"

The Singaporean jazz singer performed a medley of Jay Chou's 2001 hit "Simple Love" and The Carpenters' "Top Of The World" for her duet with her mentor in the first round, followed by a rendition of Feng Feifei's "Applause" in the second solo round.

Joanna is the second Singaporean to make it to the "Sing! China" finals, following Nathan Hartono, who took second place last year in season one of the show.
