Joan Collins has ramped up the glamour for Valentino's holiday campaign.
In the first of three video advertisements for the Italian fashion house titled Joan for the Holidays, the Hollywood icon is seen arriving at a dull dinner party in a Valentino red lace dress, matching coat, and gloves, with the look topped off with diamond jewellery and a glittering tiara.
"Well, well, I see it's not just the Champagne that's flat," she tells the guests, before one responds, "We have some tea if you'd like."
Joan then fires back: "Darling, why don't you leave the jokes to me."
The Dynasty actress proceeds to kick off the party by having her assistant bring in boxes and bags full of Valentino goodies, before inviting the youngsters to dance with her in the living room.
"You know I enjoy my own company, as much as you do," the 86-year-old states to the camera at the conclusion of the clip.
Joan has had a long relationship with Valentino, with creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli designing the white gown with feather trim that she wore to the 2019 Met Gala in May.
And in an interview for Vogue.com regarding her new campaign, the star noted that she still gets a thrill out of dressing up for events.
"Nobody dresses up anymore," she mused. "If you do, then people stare at you, or make cutting remarks... well, maybe not cutting, but they'll say something like, 'Oh, look at you! You're all dressed up.' I find that very sad, because it will be the end of women buying elegant clothes in stores. Everybody's going to end up in jeans and T-shirts, which I think is tragic."
