JJ Jia slams netizens for negative comments on baby photos
23 May – Actress JJ Jia recently expressed frustration over netizens leaving negative comments about her daughter and her husband Louis Fan on her social media account.
As reported on Singtao, the actress who shared photos of her baby for the first time earlier, took to Weibo the next day to express her anger over the backlash, saying, "Actually, I had been hesitating for a long time about revealing my baby's photos. I was really afraid, as I understand too much about the maliciousness that some people have. They can't stand it that you are happy."
JJ stated that she is frustrated that some people still talked about her husband Louis Fan's past life and his failure to be a good partner to his former girlfriend and mother to his children.
Though she admitted that it was not handled the way it should, Louis has already faced the consequences and was even severely depressed for many years because of it.
"You don't know the specifics. It's not what you imagined. [...] Do you have the right to sentence him for a lifetime?" she asked, adding that Louis has the right to have a normal family at his age.
JJ also added that while she will not hesitate to fight back for her husband, she wanted her child to have a happy life and not receive similar treatment as well.
"I wanted to be able to share our happiness with fans. But now I know [that can't be], because you won't miss a chance to harm others. So I will no longer share photos of my baby with the public. [...] I am not afraid of you, but I will protect my children," she said.
