JJ Jia announces second pregnancy
23 Sep – JJ Jia surprised many on her birthday by announcing that she is pregnant with her second child.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who turned 38 on 20 September, shared the good news with a photo of her showing off her baby bump, and wrote, "Happy birthday to me."
From the looks of the pregnancy, JJ could be pregnant for about seven months.
Husband Louis Fan also reposted the said photo on his social media account, and wrote, "Happy birthday. Thank you very much."
Speaking to the media about the pregnancy, JJ said that it was unexpected, as she actually planned to accept a role in a costume drama project in mainland China prior to finding out.
"But I am happy to be blessed with a second pregnancy. My daughter will have a companion now," she said, adding that she is currently staying home to focus on the pregnancy and taking care of her daughter.
As for the gender, the actress said that she will keep it a secret for the time being.
