Jinny Ng defends herself over comments about masturbation

9 Apr – Jinny Ng is unfazed over criticisms about her inappropriate language and lack of tact when she made a comment about masturbation on her social media recently.

As reported on Mingpao, the issue sparked a few days ago when Jinny, who started a livestream session to promote her single, made a comment about husband Alex who was playing a video game behind her, saying that he would prefer spending hours on a video game than masturbating.

"He said it's a waste of time, even though [masturbating] would take at most five to ten minutes, while playing video games would last hours," she stated, surprising many of her fans including Bob Lam, who was invited to join the livestream.

Bob responded, "Are you insane? Or drunk?", while others accused her of embarrassing her husband and her mother-in-law.

When asked about it at a radio interview recently, Jinny stated that her husband was not at all affected by what she said as he is used to her way of speaking.

"What I said was normal. Everybody has gone through it. How old are you? You don't have to watch my livestream if you don't like it," she added.

When mentioned that there could be children watching and that she could have been a bad influence, Jinny stated that kids these days do not need to learn such a thing from her as they already know more than her.

"My ten-year-old brother has even started asking me questions about sex. I taught him using books on sex education. This is a normal thing that everybody is going through," she added.

She also dismissed the idea that she and her mother-in-law are butting heads, saying that no such thing ever occurred, and that her mother-in-law cherishes her.
