Jimmy Lin laughs at mix-up over Lin Chi-ling's marriage news
14 Jun – Taiwanese singer-actor Jimmy Lin couldn't help but laugh after receiving well-wishes from other people for his "marriage to Akira".
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer recently took to social media and uploads several news articles that mistakenly spelled his Chinese name "Lin Zhiying" as the person who is marrying EXILE member Akira, instead of Taiwanese model-actress Lin Zhi-ling (or Lin Chi-ling).
"I've been receiving everyone's well-wishes, but I'm not the one getting married. It's Chi-ling!" he wrote.
However, Jimmy didn't forget to congratulate the actress, writing, "I wish her love and happiness!"
Lin Chi-ling surprised many when she announced that she has married Akira on 6 June. The couple reportedly has been dating since last year after being friends with each other since working on a stage play in 2011.
On the other hand, Jimmy has been married to wife Kelly Chen since 2009 and is a father to three kids - son Kimmy, and twin boys Kyson and Jenson.
