After a relaxing weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden returned to the White House with a touch of coastal flair on Monday. Stepping off Marine One, Biden showcased her effortlessly chic style, drawing attention with a pair of tan espadrille wedges that perfectly encapsulated her beachy yet polished aesthetic.

Dr. Biden paired her wedges with a tailored navy blazer layered over a crisp blue-and-white striped button-down, which she wore untucked for a more casual, breezy look. White cropped pants completed the ensemble, offering a fresh, summery contrast to the darker tones above. But it was her choice of footwear that truly stood out.

The espadrille wedges, featuring a cork base and light beige sole, added a laid-back vibe to her outfit. The tan canvas uppers provided a neutral backdrop, while the multiple straps wrapped around her ankles ensured both style and support. This isn’t the first time the First Lady has embraced this particular silhouette; in July, she was seen on White House grounds in a similar style of wedges, though in a navy blue hue, proving her affinity for this summer staple.

Dr. Biden isn’t alone in her love for espadrille wedges this season. Queen Letizia, Katie Holmes, and Nicky Hilton all are adopting the footwear this summer.
