Last night on the red carpet, the press was buzzing over power couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, who spent the big moment promoting their incredible parenting skills. The two are so proud and in love with their son Silas that we’re kind of surprised that they didn’t bust out a photo album of adorable baby pictures to show off during their brief interviews.

(Of course, Biel and Timberlake have Instagram, and we check their accounts all the time for adorable photos of Silas. So, physical wallet-sized photos are probably unnecessary.)

In a few months, Silas will be celebrating his second birthday. And as it turns out, parenting presents new obstacles during every childhood milestone.

During an exclusive moment with Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell and Kevin Frazier, Biel opened up about her daily struggles — which, of course, are totally worth it.

Biel, who looked like a gorgeous human Oscar, dropped a pretty intense Momism near the end, when discussing Silas’s brand new difficulties — like, for example, his refusal to have his diaper changed.

“It’s one of those things where it’s like, ‘I love you, but I just don’t know if I like you,'” Biel admitted.

She’s not alone. While many (many) other mothers worldwide have these feelings sometimes, they just don’t always voice them. Timberlake is pretty much in the same boat as far as fatherhood goes.

While he admitted that everything was just fine with parenting, he did mention that it’s often harder than it’s portrayed.

“There’s other moments where you’re like, this is really hard and I don’t know what I’m doing,” Timberlake stated.

So, fathers out there? Just know that even though Justin Timberlake makes a masterpiece out of everything he touches, even he’s got his own doubts and worries at times.

All in all, it’s just refreshing to hear these two approach parenting in such a realistic way! We know that if they’re willing and able to have a second, they’ll be old pros by the time Silas’s sibling has his or her “terrible almost-2’s” phase.
