Jerry Yan denies undergoing knee surgery
16 Dec - Jerry Yan has denied reports saying that he recently underwent surgery for his knee.
According to Sina, tabloids previously reported that the singer was recently admitted to the VIP ward at Postal Hospital, Taipei, using his real name, Liao Yang-zhen in preparation for his knee surgery.
However, the actor was already discharged by the time the media arrived at the hospital. The hospital management has also declined to share any information about his surgery.
Speaking to the media about his condition on 13 December 2016, Jerry's camp denied reports of his surgery, saying that it was just a mere check-up.
"Jerry injured his ACL while playing basketball last week. He just went for an MRI scan, that's all," said his rep.
The rep also added that the actor has been advised to take rest for the next few weeks.
