Jericho Rosales wants to try new things post-Halik

18 Apr – Now that his drama, "Halik" is nearing its end, Jericho Rosales would like to take a break from television and pursue other interests.

In an interview with Inquirer, the actor shared that he plans to take a break for two or three months to collect his thoughts and finally try to execute his ideas for new projects.

This include directing or a movie or creating contents for the streaming app iWant.

"I have a lot of ideas in mind. I want to create something original. I want to help promote Filipino culture," said Jericho, adding that he is interested in exploring the struggles of members of Filipino communities in [Los Angeles] and New York.

"Why is our image so negative? The Mexicans and Indians have managed to change the public's perception of them, why can't we, when we're just as talented and probably far more artistic?" he said.

Aside from the projects mentioned, Rosales added that he would also love to use his free time to do music and surf again.

"I have the best setup right now. [My wife] Kim once told me, 'If you want to go anywhere in the world, I will support you.' This time, it's all about me finding myself. I'm not yet finished fulfilling my other dreams. I have been doing soap operas for the past 20 years. I now plan to get out of the box I'm in and return with something new to offer," he said.
