Jeremy Scott believes so much pressure is placed on having a good New Year's Eve that it's "almost like asking for failure".
While many people like to ensure they ring in the New Year in style, the Moschino creative designer dislikes the pressure being placed on coming up with a big night out plan for the 31 December, especially as he doesn't feel the need to have one spectacular bash to see out the year because he attends so many unforgettable events all the time.
"There's so much pressure for it to be a big night it's almost like asking for failure. For my job, I have such wonderful events like tonight all year around, I don't need that one party," he told W magazine.
The 44-year-old took time out of his busy schedule to visit his family in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri for Thanksgiving in November, and revealed to the outlet that he wanted to go somewhere hot over the festive holidays.
"I would love to go to The Maldives, cold and snowy just isn't my vibe. Give me beautiful sunsets and warm ocean water!" Scott shared, adding that he is so busy with work that he'll hardly be at home so he didn't see the point of putting up Christmas decorations.
"I'm always busy working, so why am I going to put my house through that just to take it down, when I'm not even here?" he asked.
Scott is yet to reveal on social media if he ended up going to The Maldives.
