Jennylyn Mercado denies engagement rumours
20 Apr – Jennylyn Mercado has laughed off rumours that she and boyfriend Dennis Trillo are now engaged to be married.
As reported on PEP, the rumours of an engagement sparked recently after Trillo shared a photo of Mercado's hand holding his, with both of them wearing the same brand of watch.
However, it wasn't the two watches that attracted people's attention. It was the two rings on Mercado's finger that sparked rumours that they are now at another stage of their relationship.
Mercado was surprised when asked about it recently, and responded that the focus of the photo was on the two watches.
"It's all about the watch. Don't you need a big rock on an engagement ring though? A round stone (diamond)? No, we're not [engaged]," she said.
Although it has been more than two years since the two of them rekindled their romance, Mercado stated that they have no plans to tie the knot just yet.
