Jelly Lin denies dating Connor Leung
4 Jun – Mainland actress Jelly Lin Yun has denied rumours that she is now dating 2018's "Meteor Garden" actor Connor Leung.
As reported on Sina, rumours of romance between the two sparked after tabloids shared videos of the actor hanging out with a mystery girl at a home decor store. The two were spotted looking at items and speaking to an employee before exiting the store together.
Although the woman's face was obscured behind a face mask, many agreed that she resembled "The Mermaid" star.
However, Lin's agency immediately dismissed the rumours as false in a Weibo post posted on 2 June, writing, "Everybody knows that our Yun is deeply in love with [online shopping platform] Taobao. If a sofa is needed, it will be bought online."
The studio also stated that the actress has been too busy with work nowadays and would have no time to go out shopping.
It is also noted that there are no instances of Lin interacting with Connor before, as the two had never worked together.
