Jeff Goldstein Named Warner Bros. President of Domestic Distribution

Jeff Goldstein has been promoted to president of domestic distribution at Warner Bros. In his new role, Goldstein will be tasked with overseeing the theatrical rollout of the studio’s films. He has been at Warner Bros. for more than 30 years, beginning his tenure as an intern in the studio’s Los Angeles office. He later served in regional offices in Florida, Ohio, and Massachusetts, before rising up through the executive ranks. Goldstein was most recently executive vice president and general sales manager of domestic distribution at Warner Bros.

In addition, Warner Bros. has expanded Veronika Kwan Vandenberg’s portfolio. In addition to heading up international distribution, she will oversee growth initiatives. Part of that will involve figuring out ways to expand the company’s theatrical business in China. That part of the globe is increasingly important to major studios. Currently the world’s second-biggest market for film, it is expected to quickly surpass the United States as the primary source of ticket sales.

Upcoming releases at the studio include “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” “Wonder Woman,” and “The Accountant,” a drama with Ben Affleck. Both Goldstein and Vandenberg will report to worldwide marketing and distribution president Sue Kroll.
