Jeannie Chan says "no chance" with Carlos Chan
10 May – As fans began expressing support for their onscreen romance to turn into something real, TVB actress Jeannie Chan recently stated that nothing is going to happen between her and fellow actor Carlos Chan.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently, shared that she has not entertained the idea of dating her "ICAC 2019" co-star as he is more of a younger brother to her.
"It's not that I don't want to date, but you can't rush into these things. I haven't met a suitable partner for the time being, and nobody is currently pursuing me," she said.
Jeannie also stated that men always mistook her for a very girly girl, which she said is far from her actual personality.
In the same interview, she also opened up about her past relationship with casino tycoon Stanley Ho's son Arnaldo Ho, saying that the romance didn't last because of his wealthy background.
"I was unhappy that the media described me as [a gold digger]. The intense attention made it difficult for us to be acknowledged for our hard work," she said.
