Jazz Boon has no plan for "The Unholy Alliance" sequel


19 Sep - Although the conclusion of "The Unholy Alliance" leaving fans wanting for more, TVB producer Jazz Boon stated that he has no plans to make a sequel.

As reported Mingpao, the producer who spoke to the media about the finale, stated that he is satisfied with the overall viewership ratings of the said drama, which ended with an average 29.8 points (about 1.94 million viewers).

When asked if he would consider producing the sequel to the Ruco Chan and Nancy Wu-starrer, Jazz responded with a "no", saying that he has never been interested in making sequels.

However, Jazz stated that he does think that the character of Mr. Yik, the bodyguard played by Jimmy Au has a potential to be turned into something more.

"I am currently planning on developing the character," he said, though declined to explain whether a prequel is in store.
