Jayda Avanzado unperturbed by comparison to Ylona Garcia
4 Apr – Singer Jayda Avanzado recently denied the notion that she is copying fellow singer Ylona Garcia.
As reported on PEP, the singer, who addressed the claims made against her by some netizens, stated that she will continue to remain focus on being true and authentic to herself.
"I feel like, part of it is being in showbiz. It is unavoidable to be compared. But I don't have much to say on that," she said.
Avanzado stated that she is not perturbed by the negative comments coming her way.
"I think it's something that I was kind of aware that it comes with it when you step into the business. To a certain extent, you have to get used to it," she said.
The singer added that if the criticisms are constructive, then she would use them to better herself as a person and an artiste.
However, at the same time, she also believes that people should be held accountable for their actions and words.
