Jaya to move to the US
11 Mar – Singer Jaya recently announced that she is going back to the United States with her family.
As reported on ABS-CBN News, the singer revealed her plan during the virtual press conference for "Grateful Tuesdays", saying that the family made the decision after going through several challenges including her husband Gary Gotidoc's mild stroke.
"In the back of my brain, it was like, 'What's going on?'," she said.
Jaya revealed that they have already sold their property in Tarlac in January, and her husband and stepson had since departed to the US.
"They were able to find a job 22 hours later and they were able to find a home to rent. It's big and beautiful and looks like we could buy it someday? It's not for sale, but you know, He provides."
"Things happened and things start to arise when your faith rises. That's the reason why I'm going to the States because I think He's really telling me to go there, don't worry about it," she said.
Among other celebrities who have moved abroad include Carol Banawa, Joyce Jimenez, Jewel Mische, and Kim delos Santos, who is now a nurse in the US.
