Javi Benitez, "Oh My Dad!" producer defend Sue Ramirez
26 Jan – Sue Ramirez is lucky to have two good friends defending her over rumours of a romance with actor Ian Veneracion.
As reported on Manila Bulletin, the actress recently became a target of netizens over a blind item alleging that a handsome actor is separating from his wife over an affair with a beautiful starlet who has a boyfriend from a prominent family.
Netizens who saw the rumours immediately came to the conclusion that it was about Ramirez and Veneracion, who are working together on the TV series, "Oh My Dad" as a father and daughter duo. It is noted that Ramirez has been romantically linked to Javi Benitez - son of businessman and Negros Occidental politician Albee Benitez - for a while now.
Benitez came to the actress' defence on social media recently after an Instagram user commented online on Ramirez's post, asking, "How is your secret relationship with Ian Veneracion?"
Benitez responded, "Sue is not a starlet and she is not that kind of woman. You've guessed wrong, which is why you should just stop it."
On the other hand, Atty. Joji Alonzo, who co-produced "Oh My Dad!" also defended Ramirez, saying, "There is absolutely nothing going on between Ian and Sue. Sorry, wrong guess."
