Jason Momoa Ready To Rock In Justice League Set Photo

With his long hair and imposing physical stature, Jason Momoa’s always had a bit of a rock star vibe about him – and it seems he’s been exercising that on the set of ‘Justice League.’

The in-production superhero ensemble piece will see Momoa get his proper introduction as Aquaman, after a very brief cameo in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.’

‘Batman V Superman’ director Zack Snyder is once again behind the camera on ‘Justice League,’ and he shared this image of Momoa on set and in costume, in what we assume is an informal, out of character moment – unless there’s a little more to Aquaman than we’ve been expecting.

Snyder tweeted, “Every day on set is an amazing adventure with this guy. #JusticeLeague #Aquaman @PrideofGypsies

It’s curious that our early looks at ‘Justice League’ present Momoa’s Aquaman as the biggest badass of the team, given how Aquaman has historically been regarded one of the silliest superheroes ever, given that his main power – as Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne smirks in the ‘Justice League’ trailer – is that he can talk to fish.

Well, on this evidence he not only talks to the fish, but rocks out with them too. Can’t argue with that.

Of course, this could also be Momoa in training for his next comic book movie role, as it came to light this week that he’s in talks for the reboot of ‘The Crow,’ which would see him portray rock musician Eric Draven, who returns from the grave for revenge on the criminals that murdered both him and his fiancé.

Before that, we’ll see Momoa in ‘Justice League’ in November 2017, with the ‘Aquaman’ solo movie to follow in July 2018.
