Jason Momoa Teases ‘Amazing’ ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: ‘It’s Going to ‘F— up a Lot of People’

No true “Game of Thrones” fan could honestly believe that the HBO series is going to have a happy ending. But, if you were betting on it being one you will never forget, then you are definitely on track, according to former “GoT” star Jason Momoa.

Momoa, who played Dothraki leader Khal Drogo before he met an untimely end in Season 1, has revealed how he feels about the final season of “Game of Thrones” to Entertainment Weekly — yes, he said he discovered some really juicy spoilers after paying visit to the set in Belfast.

“Just knowing how amazing this season is going to be…” Momoa told EW. “It’s going to be the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV. It’s going to be unbelievable. It’s going to f– up a lot of people,” he added. And yeah, he didn’t necessarily want in on those final-season spoilers: “It was a bummer because I’m a huge fan and I didn’t want to know what’s going on. I was like, ‘Damn, I didn’t want to know that!'”

If you’re a major Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Drogo shipper, don’t get your hopes up about Momoa making an appearance in the upcoming final season. He was just there to chill with his old pals, Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Rory McCann (The Hound) and Clarke.

“I just showed up to see [producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss] and I just happened to see people on set,” Momoa says. “I haven’t been over there in a long time. You just want to see your friends and you end up make headlines going, ‘Drogo’s back!’ and I’m like, ‘He’s dead! He can’t come back, it wouldn’t work.'”

Um, does someone else want to tell Momoa about Jon Snow, or can we?

No premiere has been set for the eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones,” though the showrunners said last summer that they plan to spend a year and a half working on its final six episodes, so a date in 2019 is likely.
