30 Dec – Jasmine Curtis-Smith recently admitted that she is in full agreement with Janine Gutierrez's reaction to news of Senator Bong Revilla's 2020 acting comeback.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who was asked to comment on the young starlet's previous Twitter response to news of the politician playing the lead in the upcoming Kapuso series, "Agimat ng Agila", stated that networks should be more sensitive nowadays when it comes to choosing a cast or stories to tell.
"Let's prioritise the stories we want to tell the people, (and who) we want to put up on the stage and showcase, because the people we put on the stage, they are not only entertainment, but they are also a source of inspiration," she said.
Curtis-Smith stated that on that specific case of Revilla, "I second you, Janine. That's it."
Gutierrez previously drew the ire of Revilla's manager, Lolit Solis, by responding to the senator's showbiz return with a simple "Oh God", saying that the actress was being cruel towards Revilla without thinking that she wouldn't be where she is today "if not for the goodness of people".
