Japanese furniture brand Nitori Retail to open first Singapore store at Courts Nojima The Hereen

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Japanese furniture and home furnishing brand Nitori Retail will be opening its first outlet in Singapore on March 31, spanning 31,630 sq ft on level four of Courts Nojima The Heeren in Orchard.

Courts Nojima The Hereen is the second flagship store for furniture and consumer electronics retailer Courts Singapore. The space, which opened last November, was previously occupied by Robinsons The Heeren which closed in December 2020.

“With over 20 active years working with manufacturers in Southeast Asia, we are very excited to finally be expanding our retail footprint into the region. Our central location at Courts Nojima The Heeren in Singapore is strategic and in line with our aim of enabling Singaporeans from all walks of life to freely design their homes with comfort and fun in mind,” says Soichi Oda, executive officer & head of Asean at Nitori.

The store will carry large furnishings and interior accessories from four main categories, furniture, decor & home fashion, series collection and featured collection. Nitori manufactures over 90% of its products in-house.

This will be Nitori’s second store in Southeast Asia: The first opened in Malaysia in January at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport in Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang. Nitori plans to open another nine stores in Singapore over the next five years.
