Janine Gutierrez is officially a Kapamilya
19 Jan - After her network transfer was previously revealed by actor Paulo Avelino, Janine Gutierrez finally confirmed that she is now a Kapamilya.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the "Babae at Baril" actress, who inked a management contract with ABS-CBN recently, shared that she is looking forward to her "new home" in the New Year.
"I am excited to work with the actors, the directors and the productions. My mum [Lotlot de Leon] is also there and my brother Diego just started on "ASAP". So I am excited to work with them as well," she said.
Gutierrez also admitted that there is already a television series for her in the works, though she has to keep mum on the details for the time being.
The actress added that she would like to do more serious roles now that she is older, saying that her role models are actresses who were able to do both mainstream and indie films - like Lovi Poe and Iza Calzado.
"I am excited where Kapamilya directors, writers will put me, where they see that I will fit. I know all the Kapamilya shows are really beautiful and exciting and is of [great] quality," she said.
