Janella Salvador says mum has no issue with Elmo Magalona
14 Sep - Actress Janella Salvador has dismissed rumours that her mother, singer-actress Jenine Desiderio, is against her dating her onscreen partner, Elmo Magalona.
According to ABS-CBN, the actress who addressed the rumours recently, stated that her mother was just doing what any other mother should - protecting their own child.
"She is just being a mother. She just really wants to get to know him or [whichever man I befriend with], to make sure they're worth it," she said.
At the same time, Salvador denied that Magalona is courting her saying that the two of them are just enjoying their time together.
"We're not rushing [into relationship]. Work is our priority right now," she added.
The ElNella tandem is currently working on their project, "My Fairy Tail Love Story".
