Janella Salvador hopes fans accepting of new love team
18 May – Actress Janella Salvador recently admitted that she feels saddened that fans were not very accepting of her onscreen partnership with Jameson Blake.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who collaborated with Blake in the upcoming Regal Films' rom-com, "So Connected", stated that she wants fans to understand that it is her job to work with any actors and not just her onscreen partner, Elmo Magalona.
"I understand that some fans of my love team with Elmo feel hurt because they're rooting for two people that they want to end up together in real life as well. I want them to know that I know their pain, seeing their idols working separately," she said.
However, Salvador said that she is also saddened by the criticisms coming at Blake's way.
"All I want is for them to support us. But if you don't want to, then simply refrain from bashing and hurting other people for no good reason," she said, adding the same courtesy should be given to other love teams as well.
"So Connected" is set to be released on 23 May.
