Jane de Leon donates supplies to the elderly

23 Mar – Jane de Leon is among the many celebrities who decided to lend a helping hand to those in need these troubling times.

As reported on Inquirer, the "Darna" actress' good deeds was shared by the official Facebook page of One Cainta San Isidro through a series of photos of her donations - that include rice, canned foods, and bottles of water - to the elderly.

The page wrote, "Sent by Ms. Jane de Leon are the relief goods for senior citizens of Sitio Sibol. Thank you very much from our barangay and Sitio Sibol."

The actress also posted a photo of her effort on Instagram, writing, "We gave our assistance to one barangay that needed help. It makes us happy to see them happy."

"I keep on praying for God to give me more strength so I can continue helping more [people]," she added.

Other stars who have also done their part include Bela Padilla - who started a fundraiser to help street vendors and the poor affected by the lockdown; Angel Locsin - who is currently trying to get accommodation for frontline medical workers; as well as Vice Ganda - who is donating supplies like face masks and disposable gloves to frontliners.
