Jan Cheung refuses to believe brother's addiction
26 Sep - Singer Jan Cheung, the sister of actor Steven Cheung, has denied speculations that her brother might be a sex addict.
As reported on East Week, speculations about the actor's supposed addiction to sex sparked after he again cheated on Xenia Chong – who had since broken up with him – with a Taiwanese woman he barely knew.
Aside from the fact that Steven admitted that he had cheated on Xenia before, it was noted that he was also caught cheating on previous girlfriend Maggie Fu with a woman that he met online years earlier.
When asked about her brother's perpetual cheating reports, Jan refused to believe that Steven's issue was psychiatric in nature.
"He just likes to have fun," she said.
When mentioned that Steven himself said that he might have such an addiction, Jan said that she will give him advice and ask him to release the energy through exercise instead.
She also stressed that she will continue give her support to Steven, since she is family.
As to her own relationship with Xenia, Jan said that the two of them remain friends.
