James Reid on Nadine Lustre: I will always love her
5 Feb – Although the two of them are no longer together, James Reid said that he will always love his ex-girlfriend and onscreen partner, Nadine Lustre.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor who spoke about their breakup for the first time with a fashion magazine, admitted that he has a lot of figuring out to do now that he is on his own without Lustre.
"We've been in a love team for so long and that's been my whole life. I can't even begin to think of who I am or what I'm supposed to be outside of that love team, which is scary," he said.
Stressing that he still loves the actress, Reid added however that his perspective on love has broadened. He also added that he wants to be more independent and get to know himself better.
"People might say I'm a bit heartless. I don't want it to seem like me wanting to know who I am without Nadine is the only reason. There are too many to point out, but that's all I'm able to share without going into depth," he said.
The couple had been together for four years before calling it quits on their relationship earlier this year.
