James Reid is excited for Nadine Lustre's new album

3 Jun – James Reid and Nadine Lustre recently had their first interview together since their breakup - not to address whether or not they're reconciling, but to promote the actress' upcoming album.

As reported on Rappler, Reid, who spoke to MYX as the owner of Careless - the same record label which Lustre is currently signed to since 2019 - stated that they are now 100 percent focused on the making of the album as it would be the biggest project of the year.

"It's Nadine's experience, she's one of the strongest women that I know. She's been through so much and I've seen her grow, so the inspiration was all there. It was really just getting the people together to help tell that story, which is why we're really excited," said Reid.

On the other hand, Lustre, who previously shared that she has written several songs about her struggles with mental health, as well as the death of her brother Isaiah throughout the quarantine period, stated that the album is the perfect platform to inspire her listeners.

"The full album is very personal, it's about what I went through, my experiences. I don't want to say more because I'm going to spoil it," she said.

However, the former onscreen and off-screen couple made no mention about rumours that the two of them are getting back together.
