Jacqueline Wong's sister frustrated by backlash against her

10 May – Jacqueline Wong's elder sister Shelby Wong seemed to be expressing her frustration over the backlash against the actress in her recent Instagram post.

As reported on Mingpao, Shelby, who wrote a long message following reports about a petition demanding TVB to fire her sister, stated that a lot of people seemed to love being abusive online and judging other people's character.

"Many people believe they can just bully others and transform themselves into judges. The world is really sick," she wrote.

Shelby stated that "everybody is nothing in the face of death", and that one "should have a balance in life between happiness and sadness".

She also stressed that one should accept one's responsibility and make a change after making a mistake.

"As a woman, sister, wife, mother, friend, we should feel fortunate to encounter various experiences and obstacles in our lives. It is important to reflect on oneself and seek to improve it," she added.

Previously, it was reported that Jacqueline has already taken an indefinite hiatus from work and left Hong Kong, possibly to the United States to further her studies.
