Jacqueline Wong to buy new TV for dad on Father's Day
17 Jun – While most celebrities have yet to plan their Father's Day gift, Jacqueline Wong is already on it.
"I am buying my dad a new television," she enthused, while speaking to Mingpao at a charity event recently.
Jacqueline said that her parents' TV broke when her drama, "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" premiered last month, so her father had to leave the house to watch it.
"But unfortunately, I wasn't in the first episode, so while it was sweet of him, I do feel guilty about it," she said.
When asked if her father made any comments about her scenes with Kenneth Ma, Jacqueline said that her father hasn't said anything.
"I wonder why. Maybe because my character is such an idiot who was so infatuated [with Kenneth's character]. I do feel embarrassed," she said with a laugh.
On the other hand, the actress said that she is excited that the drama received a billion clicks on its streaming site, Tencent.
"It has been a big breakthrough," she said.
