Jacquelin Chong to go ahead with mid-March marriage registration

2 Mar – Jacquelin Chong recently confirmed that she will be registering her marriage with her Taiwanese fiancé Brian in mid-March.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media stated that she and her fiancé have already scheduled for their marriage to be officiated and registered by a lawyer at home, with her father and two sisters as witnesses.

"My future in-laws are unable to come to Hong Kong from Taiwan, so the tea ceremony will be done when the situation with the pandemic is more stable," she said.

Jacquelin also stated that she has been avoiding going to crowded places recently to avoid contracting the virus, and therefore has no plans to hold a banquet for now.

"We will have a small celebration later on. Since we have chosen an auspicious day, we will not reschedule it. As for the wedding shoot, we're not sure about it yet. I hope to lose more weight first," she said.

The actress also added that she and her fiancé even considered live streaming the registration so that more friends will be able to witness the ceremony.

Jacquelin announced her engagement to Brian two weeks ago, a few months after announcing their relationship to the public.
